I’m not an expert in any field relating to drug policy or rehabilitation, but we’re sick of experts anyway right? What I am is someone who has experienced illegal drug use in every part of my life: in school, playing competitive tennis, while at college in America, working in bars and clubs, and at the work place. I have experienced it among the more privileged of society, and some of the most deprived. My experiences have helped form my view that the criminalisation of drug users is both immoral and counterproductive, and that a change is long overdue.
